Allow soil to dry completely between waterings. Water thoroughly when dry, about every 2–3 weeks in warmer months and 4–6 weeks in winter. Place in bright, indirect light, though snake plants tolerate low light. Keep in a warm room and use well-draining soil to prevent root rot.
